I think it depends on which company. Some round up to the nearest whole digit (if cash dividend allow) and deduct the required amount of money to make it a whole number from your cash dividend.

e.g. Say you have 10 shares of SKBBL, they declared 15% bonus share and little over 11% cash. Your bonus will be 1.5 shares and Rs 100 cash (after tax for 26%). So they will round up that 1.5 to 2 and deduct (2-1.5)* Rs 100 = Rs 50 from you cash and give you balance of Rs 50 as your final cash dividend.

Others will keep fraction shares for future use.

e.g. Say you have 15 shares of CHCL, this year they provided 30% bonus share, 10% cash dividend. In record your share will be held as 19.5 shares and you will get Rs 120 (after tax) as your cash dividend.
