This is what I want;
- Any IPO share that is segregated from general public, i.e. for mutual funds, employees, affected area e.t.c., should have lock in period. In case of mutual fund, or similar, that is going to end before the lock in period expires, should not be allowed to apply for the segregated shares, they should go as regular institutional investors. - I like the idea put forward by The Rising Sun regarding groups. And also, all three groups should have different way of distributing the allocated shares for each group. I wouldn't mind doing it the old way for the smallest investors, i.e. lottery, but with possibility of higher number of shares. |

Never the less I advocate that IPO sold to mutual fund should have lock period. The market maker in Nepal it self hurries to book the profit as soon as the script is listed and I believe that is not fair and hope some regulation be made for such action

I too think IPO distribution policy should be changes drastically.
first mutual fund should also made to que in the line just like all of us. secondly, instead of two groups (500 and below and above 500), there should be at least five groups. smaller applier should get the highest and biggest group of applier should get the least. may be 3:1 and others in between. we to are waiting for refund, sachinuae ji. hope fully with in 2 days which means cash will be in our hand on monday only. |

SEBON should definitely rethink the IPO distribution policy.

If listed price of nagbeli is 500rs/share.
i applied for 10 lakh, and cause of the interest i will be loosing 8 thousand. Thanks a lot Nagbeli. and that's not all, the worst part is, i am unable to put that 10lakh in century ipo. If i had applied ipo for 10000 shares, i would get around 700 and price listed will be more than 200. so here i will be loosing 70 thousand. and total loss would be 78k. good job Nagbeli. now, nagbeli has registered their name in the investors book. investors will be taught that calculate 10 times before applying in ipo. in the past ipo used to be less risky and less return opportunity. now, with the nagbeli, ipo has become high risky less return opportunity. anyone willing to buy 22shares of nagbeli @ 1500/share? |

More than 1000 individuals could have applied for 5000 shares.
Only thing we can do is think a few times before applying for smaller IPOs. |
