I am planning to attend AGMs.

I have got this agenda, "i would like to give my vote to that director from general share holder who could maintain discipline, who can make promoters and top management follow the rules and treat all the clients of the org. equally, timely information, find and punish insider traders" etc.

Any advice, where can i find such candidate? And by the way, who becomes director from general share holder... is there cheating involved during election?

I attended few agms this month but everywhere i went i hardly saw genuine investors....
What i saw was laymans, tapori kind of investors who make unnecessary noises, pollute the environment who are only there for lunch....
They are the ones who neither hold good stakes in cos nor have any knowledge on financials....
I even saw people putting packets of biscuits in their pockets....*** !

Come on guys lets attend agms....lets discuss intellectually, put good questions, advices to the board.....
Lets develop that culture and habits....lets upgrade the status....lets beautify the markets' stakeholders....
It is us who should do that....thats our duty.....noone else will do that....
We are the future big players......let us know that now and prepare ourselves for the future.....
