From past 30 years onwards we are looking the same persons around
policy level and discussing about same agendas. Who is blocking it ?
The prosperity is only the subject of speech. We cant expect
much from the same stale faces Wait one year overoptimist guys , You will
start rethink yourself. We cant expect cream from churning the water.

I think land that is suited for urbanization will definitely turn into ghaderis as people do need a place to stay. Cities are more efficient than far flung villages.

I think Nepal can just do fine by focusing on tourism, agriculture and generation of electricity. In the short term remittance will help.

On agriculture, we should grow specialty crops(coffee, tea, spices, medicinal herbs) and focus on animal husbandry.

On Industrialization, we don't need to make rubber tires and jute bags. They are made cheaper in India and China.

We necessarily don't need heavy industries and in reality, we won't be able to compete with India and China. We do need some industrialization. Industries to satisfy local demand will definitely prop up as in cement and steel wires. I see a huge need for packaging/recycling industry that can be developed in Nepal.

Admit it, Hulas Motors never had any future. It was really just a local assembly and some body works, as they do in Banepa now a days.

If we double our international tourists and triple our internal tourists, that is a lot of money in circulation. Like I said in earlier post, we need to develop other places than ABC, EBC, Chitawan and Pokhara. We need to develop Karnali route and Dolpa route in the short term. As we have seen the popularity of Rara circuit with internal tourists, it will definitely help in transferring of wealth from the urban rich to the poor in those regions.

By building better roads and efficient routes, we can definitely lower our consumption of oil in the short term. Long term, mass transit and electric vehicles will help us save valuable foreign currency. The use of induction technology in the household should save money on LNG imports as well.

And Deepak Ji, I think you are misreading our kids. They are very creative and smart. Obviously, there are high incidences of drug use, but believe me many of my friends abused drugs too when we were young. Myself, I abused alcohol. :D But, I turned out to be a productive citizen and my friends did as well. The internet has made our kids a lot smarter than you and I.

Like I said earlier, despite all the fuckups, mismanagement and unyielding policies, we are here at a decent spot with good telecommunication, media and banking infrastructures. With the most shittiest airport in the world, we managed to bring 800000 tourists last year. Imagine in few years with relative political stability, Kathmandu cleaned up and few more international airports, Lumbini promoted, how many toursists can we bring?

All we need from government is some help in the generation of electricity, mean and lean market regulations, and some spend on infrastructures. Nepal will leapfrog many of its peer in development indexes. I am that positive.

See Guys you are talking about cars and all and cheaper rate what the impact a capital flight again to different destination in name of electric cars and others !!

Well Tourism Definitely a Big Opportunity and along with that agriculture also a big opportunity.

All Cultivatable land has turned in Ghaderi !!

Most of the commodities we have started importing where as export figure compare to import is very less.

Companies like Hulas Motors which started Mustang has been closed.

Biratnagar Jute mills & Gorakhkali Rubber is in mess !!

NTL filed for Bankruptcy by government !!

Local Nepali are not allowed to Invest Overseas !!

Here People shy away to work hard but does the same in Gulf Countries.

In General People don't want to work hard but put a lot of hard work for their Fundamental rights !! after a certain age limit they demand asking for Anksha in Properties.

Coming generation youngsters are getting Drug addicted !!

Conclusion :- Despite being enormous Opportunity Our Country Policy is not that good, which these law makers need to work !! :( :(

You are wrong Deepak sir. Lithium prices are going down. I am currently doing my research to see if I should invest in Lithium stocks.

The thing about Nepal is we have fucked up so much, so much mismanagement that it can't get worse than this. The only way is up. If we don't go back to killing each other and start another civil war, we are set to prosper. Why?

-Tourism
-Electricity
-Agriculture
-Remittance

Close to 7-8% of our population is working abroad and sending remittance. I think that should be one of the highest in the world. And this flow is not stopping anytime soon. It will be a negative in the long term. However, in the short term/ mid term, its a plus. Eventually, we all need to make more babies if the outflow don't stop.
Despite all the corruption/conflict, we managed to build up a decent telecommunication, media and financial sectors.
For tourism, we need some infrastructure projects to complete in Lumbini and Pokhara. We can attract a lots of SE Asian tourists. I am eagerly waiting for Army to complete Nijgad Highway. We can attract a lots of tourists from Bengal, Bihar and UP. They also need to develop other routes than ABC and EBC. I am sure private sector will invest in Karnali and Dolpa eventually.
Generation of electricity will lead to lots of Foreign currency savings that we currently spend on imports of OIL and LNG.
I think people will eventually realize there is a lot of bucks to be made in Agriculture. They need to specialize in growing cash crops, medicinal herbs, and perishables. We can buy rice and grains from more efficient producers abroad.
In twenty years time, you will see a very prosperous Nepal exploiting its natural resources, plum on tourism and remittance money.

That's good ! But you a person just showing a Strength prospects only. Any market has 4 components under SWOT.
1. Strength
2. Weakness
3. Oppurtinity
4. Threat.

If you analyse anything you should cover all these 4 aspects else it's just a Lehman work.

It's just like little knowledge is dangerous. Raw material for battery has shortage lithium prices have soared like any thing I have seen decline in operating profit despite of higher business volume due to increase in raw material prices in many battery manufacture companies like Exide ,Amara Raja batteries, etc. etc. Do we have huge lithium deposit in Nepal ovesiously no. You never know government imposes a huge Tax on batteries in coming days as big revenue oppurtinity if vehicals go green. What's Kyoto gudlines about it.

ELECTRICITY IS OUR FUTURE
NEPALESE SHOULD BECOME AFFLUENTS OF UPCOMING GREEN AGE

1 - DONT buy CARS now

2 - Companies like TESLA/VOLVO/FORD/TOYOTA are manufacturing advance electric cars which are luxurious and vibrant looks like contemporary AUDI/BMW models

3 - Battery Technology is on revolution with concept of solid state technology where one full charge can give over 700 MILES DRIVE (Its Miles)
And
3 - Durability is amazing. Once electric vehicle lasts for life. With lowest maintenance cost. No need of lubricants. And financially cheaper when using electricity than petrol/diesel.

4 - Capacitors have become dense and this can make revolution in public transport. Making all system of public transport fully electric has become possible.

5 - TESLA Cars to cost below 28,00,000 NRS (Basic Version) once it starts production in China or India. It gives over 300 to 400 miles on single charge....Already setting factory in CHINA. Currently basic version is around 35000$ - much cheaper than CRETA etc which is no comparision to hi tech electric vehicles....

6 - TAX is 10% on electric cars COMPARED TO over 250% on disel/petrol cars.

7 - Companies like toyota is coming with electric cars from 2020 and companies like volvo is alltogether stoping petrol/diesel based automobiles

WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM
1 - Is of the opinion that GLAMOUR of middle east will slowly decrease as entire automobile industry switches from fuel based transport vehicles to electric vehicles
2 - Is of the opinion that this will end oil politics and there will be shift of political power

FUTURE IS WHITE GOLD
1 - Country like Nepal can progress
2 - Government must work with deep vision

.........THREE PILLARS OF ECONOMY OF NEPAL = WHITE GOLD (HYDRO) + TOURISM + AGRICULTURE.............

.....Want to see progress....Want to see each Nepali getting rich....Want to see no brother and sister going to abroad in employment....Want to see affluence in home of each nepalese....Our nation has only one agenda now and that is prosperity.....

.....BAKI ISHWOR KO LEELA.......
