PE ratio= Price/EPS
PE ratio of promoter share is suppose to be lower not higher since their price is normally lower than ordinary share. |

i may not have been able to understand but the PE ratios stated in merolagani dot com for promoter shares for companies like NIB and Nabil are outlandish! would appreciate explanations!

Can you please provide examples? P/E ratio of promoter share is generally lower as its price is also lower than its ordinary counterpart.

Why is the PE ratio of the promoter share unusually higher than the ordinary share? Are there any specific conditions that need to be full filled in order to buy them by individuals??
