Capital gain tax is rigid ! it I not effected by the time factor but is effected by the policy made by SEBON ! Who is the market regulator also calledwatch dog

When we sell our shares we pay capital gain tax.....is time factor considered or not?
Suppose, i buy today and sell after a month...or i sell in a year ?
Will the tax amt be the same or is time factor considered i.e. as time grows the tax rate comes down ?
