Although NRB had given subsidy, BFIs has made provision for losses too in huge volume but has shown massive growth of net profit. This trend shows that there is no effect on profit. BFis reduced interest in saving a/c but not in lending which has resulted in more interest income. So final report too.....

Manufacturing and hydro sector are suffering the adverse effect of the earthquake. But when I look at the banking sector of Nepal, there is average growth of 20% in this time of adversity. How can this be ?
In the first and second Quater of this fiscal year may be the subsidy provided by the Nepal Rastra bank helped but now as we are getting into the third Quater there is still growth. if not now will there be any effect of earthquake in the banking sector |
