I also had the same problem when i bought NICA shares last year. their reason was that the share was in "rokka" by some bank i don't know why.
if the share was blocked how was the seller able to sell it and take my money? they had no answers to my questions . it took almost 8 months to solve the problem after so many visits to the share resistare Civil capital.

I bought Share of API at end of Poush (before mandatory DEMAT provision). Now about two months have been completed, but my broker is unable to transfer the share in my name. I asked to broker about the problem, he is saying "The reason of delay is that seller broker did not provide sold certificate due to some reasons". At this situation, is there any legal provision for punishment to Seller or buyer broker which are unable to hand over share in my account? or is there any solution? I expect input from experts.
