Yes this is very true! It is true that a coterie of big fishes ruined the market due to rumours spread so that they could grasp good scripts at low prices. They have access to all kinds of information and was buying only good scripts at low prices. What they didn't realize is once you kill the euphoria of the general mass with gossips you are also killing your market. When people's interest in stock market was slowly increasing and all of a sudden when things goes topsy-turvy for no reasons at all, it will be very hard to reverse the euphoria. This has created a vacuum as nobody knows how this has happened all of a sudden, where skepticism and pessimism is abound and hence this has ruined the market and they themselves have been trapped as everybody is selling at whatever price available in the market. This has created a psychological fear to the new and naive investors especially the small ones on whom the stock market is dependent. Hence the stock market is running on auto-pilot and will run for some more days. Those who will hold will not lose but the market God knows where it will end up!
