There is one Portfolio Manager built on Excel by Mr. Balram Gautam which lets you calculate net profit after broker's commission and Capital Gain. Here is the link for that Portfolio manager.

Thank you Friends.
Dear mero desh ji, suppose You bought 100@Rs 500 Sold @525 How much you gain? 2500....no... Ur cost is @ 505 Ur sale is @ 519 Gain is 1432 only. This is due to adjustment of broker and sebon commision while buying and again this two plus capital gain(in profit only) while selling. The above is just an example...you will find much difference in script with high rate. So be aware. |

Yes i think this kind of info is good for new investor like me and in my personal view new investor can even start with secondary market selecting good scrip for eg SIC, CHILIME,and some good range banks where there is low risk otherwise starting with IPO will be better option

I think what rkgod143 mean to say is that his friend forgot to take into account capital gain tax and broker's commission (buying and selling).

New investors should start with IPO ...

Though what I am going to share is simplest thing and most of us are aware but I found some new friends who are not knowing about this and are losing their investment.
One friend bought SIC 300@ RS1260. When it's price became 1280..He became happy and wise to liquidate it for money need and sold it thinking he gained 6000. When I saw his happiness I kindly said him..sorry friend you loss RS 977...He become mad for a whlie. If you are new and don't know about this..be aware.. If u are confused..Plz write.. « Last edit by rkgod143 on Thu Jul 31, 2014 10:59 pm. » |
