This is the first time, in recent history, investor has felt the real danger to hydro project... so I think all hydro price will come down by some percent 10-20% in short term... but in long term investors, traders will forget about this....

But no need to worry much... they are insured, so only loss will be revenue of may be 1 or 2 yr and operating cost... since hydro is many km long and natural disaster will never effect the whole project so whole project will never effect... the biggest threat will be on dam and second to generator... and in the case of tunnel,, max of 100 meter in a few km will be effected at one time....

So hydro is not doomed...

Just be cautious... dont think hydor is all flesh and no bone.... dont invest when price is too high...

And in the case of insurance, i dont think hydro is insured by nepali insurance only, international insurance company could be involved too...
