Rocket jee, i am sorry to inform you that i don't fully make sense of your question. As far as i know, cash dividend is always calculated as the percentage on the par value of the share. Basically, par value of the share in Nepal is Rs. 100. But there are few companies with different par value as Soaltee hotel. Recently RMDC issued the IPO with its price Rs. 180 but still its par value is Rs. 100. Rs. 80 on it was premium. So, if RMDC declare 40% cash dividend then you will get 40% of Rs. 100 per share. You need to deduct the tax on it. In case of soaltee hotel, if it declare 30% cash bonus then you will get 30% of Rs. 10 per share. Some companies declare the cash dividend per share. For e.g. Uniliver declared Rs. 680 per share cash dividend last year. ( please correct me if i am wrong). It means you will get Rs. 680 irrespective of its par value whether it may be Rs. 10 or Rs. 100.

If this answer doesn't make sense. Then please be more specific, other members of the forum are also requested to make us clear.
