It depends on the number of shares you want to transfer. I am not sure how much. I should be written on the back of the transfer application form that you get at NEPSE's office located near NTC office at Bhadrakali, along with list of necessary documents that you need to submit to NEPSE.
Make sure you have collected all the share certificates from the registrar's office. Another thing that irritates me is the nearest location of Bank of Kathmandu (you need to deposit the fee amount there, they used to have one counter inside NEPSE building but moved it) is inside the Supreme Court. So you have to travel about half a kilometer if you walk. In-case you have an vehicle, you still have to make a few turns to reach there.

Depends on what type of transfer:

1) Death: You need death certificate (from ward office of permanent residency), relationship certificate (nata pramanit from VDC/ Metro office of permanent residency: for this you need a report from the police, need witness to go with you to the police). Original share certificate and take the paper work to NEPSE. They will charge you fees and give you a slip. Take that with share certificate to the share registrars office.

2) Family: You need relationship certificate (as above) and take to NEPSE. Original share certificate and take the paper work to NEPSE. They will charge you fees and give you a slip. Take that with share certificate to the share registrars office. (Only for intimidate family members, i.e., father, mother, spouse, children)

3) Secondary market: After paying our due to the broker, call them in few days time if you want to transfer it to you, and go sign some document. The broker will do the rest.
