It is better to let NEA Board decision prevail reganrding the change of Chilime MD as per the law. In no situation, a public company should not totally depend on a single person like Ghising, no matter how good he has performed. Everything has to have option in development and it can not be ruled out that Chilime can not get a better CEO than the current one. The next person may perform even better than Ghising. Chilime stakeholder, however, must be vigilant on the performance and delivery of the new CEO. If the new one performs less than the outgoing one, then the stakeholder should without hesitance pressurise the concerned authority and the government to change the CEO or to bring back Ghising. In order to take this action, there is should be a clear measurement index encompassing importantant aspects based on the performance of Ghising. Compare the performance of the two guys and take appropriate action. In my view this is the best solution and is in the benefit of Chilime stake holders.
Stakeholders should be very alert whether the new CEO of chilime pushes UML agenda (amashing money for the party through contracts) and matters of personal benefit (corruption) etc. These could be easily detected.
