ooups ji, to the best of my knowledge, it's not the number of shares you have applied for but the amount of money you have applied with. So, if you apply for 500 shares (*Rs 180 = Rs. 90,000), you are a large investor. So the maximum you can apply as a smaller investor is 270 shares (*Rs 180 = Rs. 48,600), since you will have apply with a multiplication of 10 shares each.

I don't believe that the oversubscription will be over 30 times. It is because the size of IPO is larger than Sana Kishan, the maximum units an individual can apply is smaller in comparision to Sana Kishan, the IPO is in premium. At the same time, fiscal year ending and switching behaviour to secondary market are some of the reasons that will not favor the RMDC for oversubcrition more than 30 times. This is my argument. The real situation may be different than what i have mentioned.
