Sorry to share this news with the shareholders of the Asian Life Insurance Co. Ltd.

Just got confirmation from one of the BoD of ALICL that the regulatory body has rejected the proposed dividend given by the company which was 20% bonus shares.

They have strictly asked the company to keep the profit in its reserve.

In my personal assumption this news will definitely have negative effect in the share prices of GLICL, SLICL, PLICL and mostly on ALICL.

I do agree that the future is super bright for these companies like how other life companies have proved like NLIC, LICN, NLICL and RBS. But remember my friends all these companies are there in the market since long time. More than a decade companies. And it is only couple of years time for these companies to start distributing dividend to its shareholders.

In Life Insurance business it takes time to increase its debt solvency ratio. Coz the business is oa long term unlike Non- Life Insurance companies.

Better understand the balance sheet, return and then only invest guys.....I found the promoter of the companies itself selling ALICL at these levels. May be it is good for the future...But not now friends.
