i think blue chips company gets more price. no effect on the low profile company.

It's really a positive news for a market. If this is implemented then we can expect again good percentage of bonus share of good company like Nabil, SCB, NIB, EBL, HBL......

I think there will be positive effect for market. Now if this Rs.5 billion capital requirement is implemented then most of the banks will opt for the merger. Since most of the bank simply can't raise capital only by issuing bonus share. Right share can be another option but now investors might not interested to fill up right any more. So merger can be a good option.
