If NPL is more than 5%, NRB 'may' refuse the dividend. The key word here is MAY, not WILL. All the BFIs needs to do is convince NRB their NPL is within control. ADBL's NPL was only 5.72% last FY. If the NPL is tooooo high, there is no doubt NRB will refuse it. Case in point, Supreme D Bank's dividend proposal for the last two fiscal year (they had their NPL at over 8%). « Last edit by Dilbert on Fri Apr 04, 2014 11:05 am. »

one of them and top most is NPL Less than 5%, which is more than 5% till Q1 of 70/71 in case of ADBL

what are the criteria to be fulfilled by a commercial bank to distribute the dividend ? what among those criteria are not fulfilled by adbl ?
