you are very right nepal_nepali and shootingstar ji... there is the saying " Bulls make money Bears make money .. its just the pigs and chickens who get slaughtered"
Pig: Pigs are impatient, greedy and emotional towards their investments and only think of themselves. Pigs normally get slaughtered.
Chicken: A Chicken Market is fear. Chickens have no specific plan and are driven by fear of losing their money. Fear overrides common sense and any plan is quickly changed if a loss occurs.

Many investor have their own investment strategy . Some investor invest in fluctuation market .some investor like steady inclined or declined market. In any way, whether it is bulllish or bearish market , smart and wise investor will able to book their profit. Most important part is ,investor have to invest in comfortable stock and have to know what they are doing and their strategy over the odds. "The biggest risk comes from not knowing what we are doing"- WARREN BUFFET. Nobody can predict the share market precisely . it is unpredictable ,anything can happen which is the best part of share market . One thing we know is , " Market is at constant fight abetween bull and bear .And none of them can stay in top forever. So both of them will get their turns but interesting part how long does it take to get their turn." My tips - be a friend with both bear and bull ,And you will always win .

saraji, its aways a right time to invest if we do it sensibly. if we now invest in those company whose book has not yet close for their bs and/or rs, it doesn't make a big different if you invest now or in 2 months time. for example, CIT current price 4400. pledged bs 35%. therefore your cost after bs 3260/share. WDB, pledged bs 20% and rs 100%. current price 422. your cost after bs and rs 226/share. haina ra?

Reasons why i think it is not the right time to invest in the secondary market. and why wait 2 months. 1. Last year lots of financial institutions provided hefty bonus share which will all be listed in the share market and increase the supply, so price will decrease following the rule of supply and demand. 2. By the end of Chaitra people who have invested from loan money will sell to pay the loan or the interest as the NEPSE is at all time high and they will think its the right time to book profit. So more selling pressure = price will decrease. 3. Huge amount of money will be sucked up and get frozen by the FPO of the Nepal investment Bank. Even if it just gets 10 times oversubscribed it is going to freeze around 50 arba. So after the FPO the purchasing power of investors will decrease so less buyers in the secondary market, so price will decrease. 4. Because the dollar price is at all time high most of the people who work in foreign country have already sent the money even savings to Nepal to make most of the exchange rate. And the families who invest have already bought the shares from the remittance money. so no more huge remittance money flow in the secondary market to push the market up so prices will decrease. 5. In few months no more shortage of shared due to the DMAT issue (Taking long time to DMAT the shares from physical form). so prices will not increase due to false shortage. I would also like to say that this is just my PERSONAL view which i thought of sharing to the forum members. And please correct me if i am wrong and also share your views if u think differently. Happy investing. « Last edit by Sara_Hamal on Wed Feb 17, 2016 8:06 pm. »
