Before NIC and BOA merged, NIC had paid-up capital of Rs 1.311A and BOA had paid-up capital of Rs 2A. At swap ratio of 1:2 only Rs 1A of BOA was added to that of NIC and became a bank with paid-up capital of Rs2.311. So what happened to the Rs 1A from that transaction? Yes the 2 shares of BOA became 1 share of NICA, but still Rs 1A should still be there right Ramesh ji? So what exactly happened to the Rs 1A? Share is one thing, money is totally different. Are they allowed to use the Rs 1A of BOA to give up dividend or is that sealed shut as reserve?

NICA hasn't any extra reserve of merger.
can't give any extra bonus.

what if nic already has put that 1b in reserve formally?

NIC Asia is coming up with around 70 crore profit. Dilbert jee, yes NIC asia can and will use that sum to increase paid up capital this year. cuz the said sum, residual swap ratio, should be used within the two years of merger. At least everyone can calculate the proportion of amount to the paid up capital don't you. So you can guess the bonus shares NIC is about to come with.

NICA as about Rs. 1A left over from the merger don't they? Maybe they will utilize some of that money this time. Or, are they not allowed to use that money? Their reserve are bigger than their capital.
