It already has reserve more than sufficient than the required amount. Imagine the 5 billion reserve for 3 billion paid up, for which 60 crore was sufficient for the reserve. Therefore, I guess differently that using some diverted fund from reserve fund Nabil will distribute 65 percent bonus share from the current year's huge net profit and it may also distribute 35 percent cash dividend mking it capable of giving 100 percent result in its 30th anniversary commemoration occasion.

@thirdeye 20% of net profit is transfered to the Statutory General Reserve. You have written 14%. That is incorrect. Compulsory to transfer 20% until Statutory General Reserve is twice the size of paidup capital.

with EPS 84, how much dividend NABIL will give this year. any realistic guess?
My guess: if it adds 14% in reserve then 70% will be available for distribution as dividend. out of 70%; 40% cash and 30% bonus is likely. NABIL is in competition to match capital with NIB. so big bonus is real chance. let's guess. |
