Can the following statement of ADBL CEO be false?
“We are working to offer a cumulative dividend to the shareholders this time around,” he said. “We are sure that our shareholders will be pleasantly surprised and encouraged following the dividend announcement.”

Even if they want to give, Law of Land (Banking & Financial Act) doesn't allow to declare dividend it seems..

Are u sure adbl is not giving anything this time as well???

ADBL ta five years plan type ko bank nai niskane bhayo.. This time also dividend approval has not been granted by NRB becauseof BAFIA provision of 5% provision issue.. Public directors are suggested to write off few delinquent loan to bring back provision to down to 5%..As per BAFIA, Bank and FI are not eligible to distribute dividend if the provision is beyond 5%. Please propose some dividend...
