What is the necessity?

Buy before book close:

Calculate dividend and calculate price after book close:

If there is only cash- you get cash and after first qtr report, EPS will increase significantly and Price should increase significantly- in civilized stock market.

If there is bonus- you no of share will increase and after first qtr report, EPS will match before book close EPS and in some stock, it may increase slightly. Which means more share and higher price- in civilized stock market.

If there is bonus and cash- you get cash as will as your share no will increase. After first qtr, EPS could grow visibly and price will increase- in civilized stock market.



So its buy buy buy at this time and take dividend.

I believe dev banks give max bonus.

Banks, since they will have to increase capital in near future again and since many of them have premium in reserve which can be used only in bonus, so they too may give good percentage of bonus too.

Is there any way that we can calculate the proable dividend of a company?Like is it related to profit and reserve ammount?

Better to wait some time.

Offering only cash by banks would mean they seek merger or acquisition. This applies to all the commercial and development banks, even those who have met with the mandatory requirement of paid up capital.This thought will only fuel more to investors' confusion and stop them buying for a trading purpose.

Why was LBBL in loss in past?? How to know when company is able to provode divident?? Does net profit always mean company has to offer divident??

what about the dividend from top multinational financial institution
last year we were luck to get 100% bonus
This year ???

Lumbini bikas bank (LBBL) AGM declared for Bhadra 31st.
Dividend agenda is not in the list.

Lesson learnt : Don't invest in 3rd class company even if you get it at throw away price.

Turns out, LBBL has accrued loss of Rs 24.14 crore till the end of FY 2073/74. It posted net profit Rs 40.17 crore in FY 2074/75, so that should wipe out the accumulated losses. However, it seems that it will still be not able to provide good dividend this year.

Hope BFIs, Insurance, Hydro give at least half of dividend in the form of Bonus. Even though bonus is stupid but that is what market wants.

NIB eps 37.23. bonus 20% possible?

BPCL 30% BONUS AND 20% CASH

BOKL - 13 TO 15% BONUS plus 10% cash
BPCL - 10% bonus plus 25% cash
GBIME - 5% bonus and 15% cash
LBBL - 12% bonus.
NIB - 5% B & 20% cash
NABIL - 5% B & 25% cash
SIC - 90% to 100% Bonus.
