Even bankers in interview say, we have X amount of liquidity which is enough for y period.


I would like to ask them and other, "Where would the loan money go after the borrower cashes it?"







300 billion with BFIs and at least 100 billion with govt. 400 billion in liquidity, which is enough to provide 2800 billion in loan. Which is enough for 4/6 year.

Then, from this summer, we may start to export electricity, which would help in balance of payment. Chinese industrial zone will help in reducing import and increase export. Which also helps in Balance of Payment.

This means only cash in BANK vault is reduced ie CRR. They can always generate cash through REPO as they have bought plenty of BONDs during the lock down period where BANK deposit remained idle.

But if this is true, we dont have to worry for significant interest hike in short term.
Probably Base rate of many Banks will further reduce in the month of CHAITRA.

My interpretation of todays SICL trade : " Distribution of share to small investors". From few days onward buyer volume will probably reduce and ultimately price will also start falling. No one is correct 100% of the time in market.
Time will tell what is correct.
