Just sharing information for small traders. You are long term holder, so short term market fluctuation is not going to affect you. So spent 25k during this holiday season to create dynamism in retailers economy

Amazing, we two have just the opposite view of same subject 'liquidity'.

You are worried about liquidity tightening, and I am worried about over liquidity.


Govt is holding about 400 billion. We still have 2 month left.

For lockdown, I withdrew 25k, I have hardly spent it. After lock down, I will deposit it back into bank. There are millions like me.

Asar masanta is nearing and we have to settle our loan before the dead line.
Selling pressure is definitely going to increase becoz meager chance of issuance of fresh margin loan.

In chaitra, Deposit increased by around 80 billion.

Govt revenue deposit in NRB is 345 from 352.


Deposit in BFIs on 2021-4-23: 4432 billion.

Intra bank interest is down by a lot. Has govt began increasing spending????

Deposit down by 5 billion (probably tax)

Loan up by 2 billion

From 15-16

Deposit down 9 billion.

Loan down 3 billion.



Must be cause of tax collection. Meaning, govt holding around 375 billion. Incompetency at its best.

From 9-12

Deposit Up 9 billion.

Loan Up 15 billion.

I had been saying, there is 200-300 billion in liquidity. Now I say, there is 300-400 billion in liquidity in Nepal.

As per NRB's balance sheet, NRB is holding 352 billion belonging to govt. And BFIs has 50+ billion in liquidity. Which is 400 billion liquidity is available in Nepal. Which is my upper level prediction.

Which means, My projection, which I said by going against the noise- from fake news to nrb top officials and top bankers too- Turned out to be perfectly correct, like most of my predictions.
