LET ME TELL ONE OF THE MAJOR CAUSE OF MARKET FALL

THE REALITY
The Working Capital Loan of the Company which was in overdraft nature is now divided
1 - Fluctuating Working Capital (Overdraft) - upto 20% to 40% (40% in case of prescribed businessess only) of sales if total working capital loan is 2 cr below - upto 25% of sales for all businessess if total working capital loan is above 2 cr

2- Fixed Working Capital (Term Loan) - working capital loan exceeding (1) limits but justifiable on working capital cycle and 70% of NTA basis - this term loan is payable from 5 to 10 years

3- Special Working Capital Loan (Term Loan) - working capital loan exceeding (1) and (2) - to be payable immediately to bank - however as per NRB policy this is the portion of working capital loan which is not justified and if cant be payable immediately than is payable within 2082

Example
So, a company which has turnover of 15 crores and enjoying loan of 7 crores, Net Trading Asset of 7 crores
1. Fluctuating Working Capital - 3.75 cr (Overdraft/Hypo)
2. Fixed working capital - 1.15 cr (Term loan)
3. Special WC - 2.1 cr (Term Loan)


Hence businesses which had practice of taking excessive loans to invest PARTICULARLY IN REAL ESTATE is now curbed

Current Sell Offs is also result of selling of shares by businessess to pay excessive working capital loan ---- as TERM LOAN IS A HUGE BURDEN for the businessess

Great Policy by NRB to curb excessive and unjustified loans of businessess which went particularly to real estate


THE AFTERMATH
The Fiscal year end pressure and loan renewal with restructuring of working capital loan (though NRB has stated such changes as no restructuring) - have brought some tremendous pressure on market as well

However Liquidity shall ease on sustainable basis on future days and Very Good For Stock Market
Real Estate shall cool down

To Natural Person its 39% Tax.

And To Non Natural Personal its 30% Tax.

For Natural Person 5%-7.5% should be the Final Tax.

TAX CALCULATION IN FY
(Employments salary &/or Proprietorship FIRM PROFIT &/or Land PROFIT Incomes &/or Stock Profit Incomes)=100 Lakhs-
Than,
For First 5 Lakhs - 1% - Pay 5000
Next 3 Lakhs - 10% - Pay 30000
Next 3 Lakhs - 20% - Pay 60000
Next 9 Lakhs - 30% - Pay 270000
Next 30 Lakhs - 36% - Pay 1080000
Greater Than 50 Lakhs - 39% - Pay 1950000

This Means Total Tax To Be Paid = Rs 33,95,000


BENEFITS GIVEN - Actually there is no benefit - there is burden only
TDS shall be deducted as per current rules + Can set off and carry forward - ANY proprietorship firm losses and land transaction losses and stock transactions losses
Also related expenses can be deducted in firm and land and stock transactions

TAX RETURNS
As a preliminary practice, INDIVIDUALS whose such incomes exceeding 40 lakhs has been compelled to file D04 Returns from 77/78
Also NEPSE started updating tax details from late 2077/78
Now IRD will prescribe conditions and limits and return filing shall be made compulsory which will add hassle and stress

THE BEGINNING - NEGATIVE EYE
In previous bull, almost all experienced individual traders earned multiple crores
IRD got jealous
IRD thought that companies pay tax greater than Capital Gain Tax but individuals are bypassed
So they brought this in budget and now even natural human beings (individual traders) who makes profit and does real estate and stock transactions - also treated like companies and also taxed heavily

IMPLEMENTATIONS
Previously stock trading companies / Investment companies followed this
NOW IRD will issue notice that any natural resident person whose transaction exceeds a certain limit will ALSO come under the purview of these RULES

TERRIBLE FOR INDIVIDUALS IN STOCK MARKET
Tax Payment Is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY LARGE FOR INDIVIDUALS
TOTAL DEVASTATION FOR STOCK MARKET FROM INDIVIDUALS SIDE
