One advantage of opening demat a/c in fin. institution is that we get updated services such as online facility which to my knowledge do not provided (till date) by broker co.
Beside this, I also want to know more about opening demat a/c in fin. inst. vs broker. So, plz forum frens share your valuable views.   |

thank you so much ShootingStaar jee, could you please elaborate the advantages and disadvantages of opening demat account in banks/financial institutions and brokers? and, can we transfer shares from bank to broker?

yes i think you can. There is advantages and disadvantages in opening demat account in bank or broker.
