Dear Admin
It will be nice if you set permanent main thread for each listed company Showing current discussion (say within one month) on that company at top and previous discussion( as sub thread) on readily accessible archives. Further it will be nice if financial information and relevant news of that company is directly accessible from that thread.
Thanks
AnYex

Dear Rajesh Sharma ji, In the initial period, we didn't consider the spam problem will be such a huge headache..Since, the spam is getting out of control, we have changed our registration module.. Now, as per your suggestion, only after the approval from the admin the new users will be registered.. _______________ With regards ShareSansar Forum Admin

Preventing the spam is a major problem in automated registration and posting system. Hence, if your software supports and you could allocate technical human resource, I propose to introduce first time registration approval system by the admin and afterward automatic system takes care of. In this way, you could allow only (with exceptions) genuine participants to get registered and make automatic posts afterward. One more suggestion - If you are planning to update or change your software, please keep it simple (KIS). KIS is much more user friendly than having lots of options, which people use once in a blue moon.

Dear Rajesh Sharma ji, You have miss understood our intention..As you have mentioned there are users of various traits..some are well known to this market and some are new..For the experts, they are very much well aware of, which comments or replies have much weight than others in this kind of discussion forum. But for the new, it becomes hard for them to know which is reliable.. So, we are planning to make some of the active and expert users of this forum as moderator..By doing so, we think that moderator comments or replies will help such users to know which is what... While going through the past discussion, we found such moderator is necessary to this discussion forum to make this forum much more counter productive.... _______________ With regards ShareSansar Forum Admin

I read your plan that puts participants into two categories – privileged and commoner. In open forums like this, the most important factor is participation. The participants come from different traits and have different talents. Some are experts and others are simply user of information. They meet here as equals. If the division is introduced, there may come a Berlin wall in-between these two. Hence, providing a platform that respects all views, caters to everybody's needs and treats as equal emotionally and operationally are important factors to take into consideration. I have no idea how you have planned to introduce your divisions, I simply request you to consider critical factors too when you finally make the product ready and put into operation.

I have a suggestion, if possible, can Admin please allow for a voting system that if a certain number of members think if a thread is a spam, the thread gets deleted automatically?
Some of the spams in here are getting out of hand.

And please mark the members who use excessive vulgar language and talk rubbish...its better to remove them... Nepalsharemarket's forum used to be really great but now it has turned rubbish...i hardly visit it these days.... Dont let the same happen to sharesansar.... I wish sharesansar to be a place for intellectual and informative conversations...

Sharesansar, Thank you for everything....there are few things i would like to recommend.. 1. It is better if the thread with the latest comment rises at the top.. 2. It is better if the unread comment gets marked like that of nepalsharemarket.... 3. Why dont you put like, dislike option below the comment ? 4. It is better to count the likes too as the posts...and just like number of posts below the member's name, if total number of likes are also shown it would be great because one can know how good the member is and the member himself also feels good. 5. In the vertical column also if a new column with the likes is added it would be nice...total views, total replies, total likes....
Cheers !

This is excellent decision to run forum properly. First I would like to change this outdated forum software which i've also mentioned in my previous posts. Which hardly takes 2 hours to setup and run. There are many new and advance open source forum software available for free. Forum need a section for new investors containing those discussions which is asked by every new investors. For example there was a question asking how to start trading in secondary market which was kept in sticky for some time. The matter discussed in that topic is required for every new investor. Such issues can be kept in FAQ (Frequently Asked Question) category. One special page required with forum rules e.g. Post title must be clear but forum user post like "NLG" "CHCL SHARE" "Exited", "NTC". At least title should address the query what actually forum member wants to say. It also helps SEO and find the answer easily when searched from search engine. Many new post started for same discussion which is not good. By writing forum rules this can be improved easily. The security system in this outdated forum software is very low so any spammer can post entries using its automated system. All the best. « Last edit by admin on Thu Jul 25, 2013 10:30 pm. »

I used to see some suggestions and reviews from admin side on the topics discussed from the forum members on previous discussion forum of Sharesansar.com. I would like to suggest you to include the valuable suggestions to the new comers. I don't want the admin to recommend buy or sell some scripts but at least the admin can share the primary information. For e.g. if someone post regarding the ipo process, some with how to start trading on secondary market or something else similar. Then obviously the admin can answer those questions. But the response from the admin should be transparent and bias free.
Also, the admin can start the good discussion and end up with the reports like once somebody analyze the result of the investment on NEPSE based on the forum discussion.
