..your stocks base price remains same.
your cost price will be the base price not the mentioned price.
The mentioned price is always constant.

thanks for your consideration For Good Cause, while selling BT shares that's exactly like this, but m still abit confuse about ownership transferred shares as in the certificate purchase price of RS 100 is mentioned even whatever the price we paid in secondary market

Dear Smart Ji, I take your permission to answer your query. First of all " Capital Gain Tax " is tax for your gains. For example if you purchase a share in Rs 500 and sell it in Rs 600, then your gain is Rs 100 and you have to pay tax for Rs 100 @5%. So, you need to pay Rs 5 as capital gain tax. But if you purchase in IPO with Rs 100 and sell in Rs 600, then your gain is Rs 500 and need to pay tax @5% for 500. That is Rs 25. Thanks !!!

i have few shares of ccbl bought from secondary market what can we expect from ccbl this year???

Price of 1 kitta = 1000
After 27% bonus...1 kitta became1.27 kitta.
so, adjusted price is = 1000/1.27
=788
Now again if right shares 1:1 is given, considering 788 as the closing price, simply 1 share became 2 shares by adding 100 Rs.. So, (788+100)/2= 444 is adjusted price.
This is what I understood.
and for cash dividend, only the cash is deducted from the closing price...If 25% cash given..its price will be 1000-25=975.
If I am wrong please correct me friends.
