NICA has clearly lost this time. Waiting for the next term report. It has greater potential though.

NICA has overtaken mighty NABIL in terms of NPR deposit and interest income this quarter. But sadly, they have very higher interest expense which dragged down their profit. Shareholders should be hopeful in coming days.

Thanks The Rising Sun ji for sharing the correct info. I'm waiting for NICA's. It is aggressively operating 180 branches as opposed to less than 100 by other commercial banks. NICA is also very much lucrative in regards to interest rate attracting a huge number of depositers. Although the operating cost increases in the initial phases, it becomes competitive in the long run. So let's see how it performs.

Net Asset Per Share vs Market Price per Share of Dev Bikash Bank looks interesting to me. Wold like to ignore NPA of dev (coz of Sajha factor)
looks like one of the better choice at the moment |

They receive FD monthly wise, probably 8/10% per month of total FD, so cost of FD will be higher of some portion and lower of some. So trend is down then cost of fund will be down monthly wise.

If the portion of FD is higher in total deposit of MNBBL, cost of fund will remain high even if the problem of liquidity in our economy is solved, resulting not much impact in its profit growth.
However, if deposit in Saving n Current account has increased , then definitely agree with "The Rising Sun" MNBBL is going to be something to watch out for ![]() |

Prash ji, you have to double the first qtr amount to calculate, and the result is 2% less.
but future looks great when interest chaos is settled. huge deposit growth. |
