lets create a viber group of us all frens....so that it helps in getting quick decisions...like buying/selling scripts instantly....we can discuss long insightful topics here but for quick decisions it will be late....suppose for example during this FPO of BPCL an incident happened... i had bought BPCL 500 @690 and was holding it but then bad news were so spreading that i got confused whether to hold or sell...in a viber group i asked for quick decision whether to hold or sell....some good traders/investors advised to sell...i iold BPCL @615 incuring a loss of about approx.40000....but if u look back today then the advice helped me in right time..otherwise i i w have made a loss of approx 100000 as of today....

Dear All,
This forum has taught me to buy till date. Haven't yet learned when to sell. The only share that I've sold is CBL, thanks to Rising Sun Sir. So what ever I invest is for long term. I request all the experts to teach investors like me when and how to sell too. |

I've learned 'trade in bull' and 'invest in bear'. You know what this implies. While market is still bearish, it's not appropriate to buy for short-term.
As you've asked here, dear Chapman ji, everyone will have different choice. What I can suggest is look at PE below 20, reserves at least 50% of the paid up, 2nd quarter EPS above 20. You will find a handful of stocks in these criteria from CBs, DBs, insurance or mfi. Price range is your choice. |

well that is something you have to decide chapman ji.
in my experience have i regretted changing my scripts in the past. yes nabil to chcl. have i regretted not changing my scripts in past. yes cbl to sicl. so this decision is upto you. there are moments of brilliance when we look into our past purchases and sales. but there are much more disasters. yet still we are here, still investing. remember brokers get rich through activity in the stock market. investors get rich through inactivity. online media outlets, rumors and bad judgement by investors are the main reason most dont earn here. controling ones emotion is the maha mantra of the stock exchange. ups and downs are temporary value in investment is permanent. happy investment. |

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Character of an investor is observed in the bearish market. For me mutual funds are an integral part of my portfolio. Happy investment. |

Initially herda gbime mutual fund was the best they sold nlic at 4200+ which they purchased @ 2800+ in the fpo rumor each and every unit and were doing well in all sectors of the portfolio.
It had a better start than SEOS and NMBSF1 and the newer mutual funds also. SEOS was the worst in the beginning but, Global ko team and Siddhartha and even nabil team in NEF ko team difference and experience came when the market went down initially. The gbime team panicked and sold all their shares at a loss and began to go for fd options. This was suicidal for the mutual fund. Siddhartha and Nabil Team just held on. If GBIME just held on they would have given a cash dividend of 15% this year. When the market went up they couldn't recover that cash. Their current portfolio is the worst among the mutual funds as their profit is generally from sale of ipo shares like fowad and FD. Study the portfolios and they will give a picture of the management's risk bearing capacity. Nabil, NMB and Siddhartha are the best and Laxmi and NIB are also slowly catching up but global even if they made the blunder, their current portfolio isn't strong to justify their immediate success. Happy Investment |

Dear Bazarguru & Rising Sun Jee,
Because of GBIMESF1 my first MF with 50K in IPO, I'm afraid to invest in MF. I'm afraid because I don't know much about MF return except it's unit price. Can you please through some light on it. Also do you suggest me to switch that script. |

short term as of right now microfinance. media ka mafia haru kura pitdaixan.
long term : commercial banks, life insurance, non life, mutual funds, hydros, dev banks good companies yo yr ko mutual fund cash return was awesome for me 1 lakh+ in cash only wow. tyesai le i tell everyone to also add mutual funds in portfolio. seos nmbsf1 nbf1 and nibsf1 are good. but do your homework. all are good except gbimesf1. esko portfolio is full of mistakes and horrible decisions and cannot provide any return this year. if they do then investors are lucky. enjoy and hold dont worry all will be good happy investmnnt sorry for my late response this forum was down and i replied many times before. but to no avail.... this is perhaps not my best answer. |
