The Rising Sun ji,

By the end of this month, BFIs could have above 100 billion lendable liquidity. 125-150bill probably. Interest of old loan and deposit could be down by around 2% within 45days.

http://www.bizmandu.com/content/-27331.html

In the develop countries, there are some big banks and many many very small banks too. We can do same in Nepal too if NRB, Govt wish.

Like, If Banks increase their capital by more then double through merger or acquiring other banks- then those banks would get 10% discount in income tax till 2025 and Govt would deposit 15-25% of revenue in saving account every year in those banks till 2050.

There should be three conditions- first come first serve UP to 3/4 banks and those banks should be fully owned by Nepali promoters and Until 2050, those banks should give at least 75% of the dividend in the form of bonus shares till capital reaches 100 billion.

This way, we can build 3/4 mega banks.

75billion more added to BFIs.

When will interest come down to normal level??

http://www.bizmandu.com/content/-27316.html

It's not like, when local govt spend that money, Deposit in BFIs will be down, rather it will go up.

When local govt spend that money, only ownership will change, the ones getting paid will also keep that money in the bank, only bank may change but deposit wont. But instead, when BFIs lend it to borrowers, that money lended will be back to bank again and that deposit will be lended too.

That 75B will only multiply, wont decrease. This is what we call running economy. And keeping money in NRB vault will prevent the circle of economy. Which is bad, Economist, NRB are suppose to know this circle of economy. And how it harms society and country.

Today was disappointing as has been for more than last 9 month. Hope from tomorrow, it will be good NEPSE.

http://www.bizmandu.com/content/-27191.html

- OUr dumb retard governor does not understand, current interest crisis is national security threat. He thinks 10% interest rate is bottled water and 15% interest is boiled water and thinks people can manage boiled water for a year.

No idiot governor- 10% interest is boiled water and 15% interest is dhal ko pani- can not be consumed.

Monetary policy has fixed min deposit rate of 3% interest. (which I wanted)

Why is not there max interest rate for loan???

Now, what NRB could do is (if they are honest and want to do the right thing before its too late) send circular to BFIs and advice them to bring down the lending rate- 12% to banks and 13% to dev banks with in few months.

And tell them, in next 6 month monetary policy evaluation period, NRB will fix max lending rate of 12/13% and BFIs will be given just one month to do so.

Tell them to prepare from now.

I know, governor is incompetent, and still I would like to advice him, to control out of control interest rate now, or he will regret his whole life after he is retired- and that day, he wont get a chance to undo his current mistake.

http://www.nepalipaisa.com/NewsDetail.aspx/CBL/Civil-Bank-Ltd/id/17173

http://www.onlinekhabar.com/2017/06/599673/

-Those who give big interest on deposit suffer for a long term.

-Those who charge big interest usually have higher NPL.

Study many times before investing in those BFIs.

The Rising Sun sir,
That is good idea.
If Banks give loan in 16% how much for micro finance.
It is not real crisis. It is competition for business growth for capital growth.
Same money they are hooking here to there.
If they decrease interest Rate deposit will not decrease more than 5%.
For increase new deposit in banking channel whole system should change like, Above 1 lakh payment by cheque only, cash less money system, bank in remote area etc.

- If they had done this when there was already crisis but BFIs had not increased interest rate, Governor would have become problem solver even if he were not problem stopper.

I had warned /advised them around one month before BFIs interest rate went out of control. And governor, NRB would not have face blame for everything they should be blamed or not. even crook like lakpar lama insulted them. sati ko sarap.

Its time, NRB warn BFIs to decrease interest or face music.

Interest rate is too much.
