Dear Rising Sun, Change/Bigul ji and other members,

Can you please help me with a question on GI stocks, mainly insurance. As an investor, I try to stick to value investing principles and like to hold good stocks for at least 6 months to a year (which I know is short by proper value investing rules). I am a small investor and therefore need to rotate my portfolio around a little to increase my net worth.

As a whole, I know the GI sector is set to grow a lot in the next few years and there is a lot of room for them to expand, giving shareholders good returns over the long run (especially when they increase their capital).

My dilemma is that a lot of these shares are now getting overvalued and creating a bubble. I have:

NIL - 100 kitta - cost 1290. Plan to hold and file for right shares.
SICL - 100 kitta - cost 2622. Plan to hold. I think it's the best in GI and will not crash.
NLG - 115 kitta - cost 1210. Confused. I feel like this share is going to take a dip and maybe I should book profits. Also, it's getting overvalued.

What are your thoughts?

Dont sell undervalued shares tomorrow.

Panicking, greed, over excitement are enemies of investing.

STAY CALM and hold good stocks with good price.

Rocket Ji, before it went into merger, In my view, it was one of the most undervalued. I think if you can get it at old rate or even higher, looks like a good investment for me.

I dont have any share of that company.

Some are overvalued companies some are undervalued companies.

Buy Undervalued sell over valued.

Instead of talking about risk whey dont SEBON teach wanna be investors about PE ratio, growth, future prospect.

If we keep on talking just about over valued company, there could spread negativity and whole MARKET suffers.

PE RATIO IS THE OPEN SECRET SECRET ABOUT INVESTING.

Be careful new investors, before, investing into some company, try to find out about the background and history of the company too. There are some really really bad insurance company owned by really really bad people.

When investing, invest in the company with below 50 PE ratio. Even to invest in above 25 PE, its growth should he well above 10.

New investors.

Have you heard about the last great crash when it was under 1200.

I was not there, but I have heard about it, and I did predict about it one or two year before the crash.

#One of the main reason behind the crash was, the promoters of some companies were also secondary players. To increase price in the secondary market, they used to offer Right share.

-History, could repeat. There are still may promoters who are secondary players too.
For example, companies like EIC, LBL, to prevent price crash in the secondary market, they talk about Right from years early.

LBL, has improved some lately, but till some time ago, it was the most over valued company and still its price did not fall case the evil spirit announced right share years ago. I think, to maintain price, it has been announcing right share after right share. same with the EIC.

NOw, FPO, just imagine, what if FPO of NLIC is rejected. As per the rule they cant even sell FPO @600 but now send proposal to the authoring coating under 3000 price.

What if, they know, it wont be approved, but if they send 3000, price will increase so they can dump the share.

NLIC whose eps could be around 30 but price above 4K. dont you think its price is double the danger level.

Dont blame me if the authority do accept 3000 FPO price, blame the FPO rule.

If it is accepted, I will be making a lot from NGBBL.

NEW INVESTORS, it does not matter if margin lending is tighten or not. BUY undervalued, dont buy over valued.

Margin lending in NEPAL could be the tightest in the world.

More than 30pts down today, almost 3%.

This has always been the biggest tragedy of NEPSE. When it increases, hand full companies price increase, and when it goes down, almost all companies' price go down.

If you want to dump shares, dump of those whose PE ratio is above 100 first, then above 75.

What I dont understand about those idiot, so called expert.

They always talk about NEPSE, 1500. Is it even relevant? What we have to look at is growth and PE ratio. What if PE is 10 and NEPSE is 10000?

Can we say, market is over valued?

Who made them expert? Its like they are scratching each other's back.

Media is making those so called experts, experts and those so called idiot experts making media financial media.

Just like in politics, crook in one party is protection crook in another party.

RPG Ji, MY view, some overpriced company is overpriced cause of big player not margin lending.

I dont see where they can tight margin lending. It has always been tight. Only difference from past and now is, in the past only handful banks used to give loan against shares, today, few more have joined. and still there are many banks which dont understand investing.

They dont even understand, buying shares is investing in the company, and listed company are more reliable, transparent than private and personal company .

Margin lending is the safest lending out there.

Sure doom is the following lending (politically motivated lending):

This may be the way of reducing market price and purchasing the share. banking and dev bank is still undervalued. Even Hydro is also under priced. Only insurance is overvalued. There is a rumor of tightening of margin lending by nrb but to achieve the target of 8 arab, there is issuance of maximum right share. So if margin lending is being tight, there will be problems in selling right share too. So I think nrb currently will not review in margin lending policy in its upcoming policy.

आफ्ना ठुला र नियमित लगानीकर्तालाई तत्काल बजारमा लगानी नगर्न सुझाउँदै ब्रोकरहरु:

Only life insurance company sub index crossed grave danger level. Some other companies are flirting with danger level. And some are still way undervalued like dev banks.

One was saying, its not right to increase 300%, is he taking about some individual company or NEPSE???

Similarly, the sub-committee has also brought down the lock-in period for the promoter shares of BFIs to seven years against the proposed 10-year period. This means that a promoter might be able to offload his/her shares of the BFIs after seven years of operation. - See more at: http://www.myrepublica.com/feature-article/story/42986/panel-for-reducing-lock-up-period-of-promoter-shareholders-to-seven-years.html#sthash.YxjlSw92.dpuf

-----------

The govt. talking about letting promoters sell their share after 7 year from 10 year till date, after changing the rule, not converting promoter share into general share. (Lock up period from 10 yr down to 7 year.)

My view, promoter share should be converted into general share, 5% every year and let general share holder have right to become chairman of the company.

In other forum, investors are talking about compulsory house insurance.

Is is possible? Can one insure 1 crore house with 500Rs? If not, its not possible?

Sharesikaru Ji, Last few weeks, whatever I touch has been going down, So dont want to spell name of dev bank.
I suggest you to choose dev bank with around 25 PE ratio and above 20 EPS with good growth.

Gundruk Ji, Thanks, I think what I said about NLICL could be wrong, otherwise online would have published today. I saw in the news at myrepublica yesterday NLICL, they could have made a mistake, it could be NLIC.

Thanks.
