whenever there is a statement of CEO or Chairman showing good prospect or possibility of high dividend, the aftermath has been disasterous for small investers. why fatte bahadur had to come up with such statement regarding new law. i have a big suspicion on the statement? is he a man of high integriy? what is the guarantee the law will pass as proposed by his office?

Hello, Youcanrunbut ji.
In the one hand, bureaucracy is very slow and in the other hand if general insurances do not increase capital with in next fiscal year, after settlement, most of the companies' capital could fall close to NIL if not go bankrupt. So they are desperate. What I read in the media, it is in the last phase and it will be passed with budget.... so let's hope it will be included in the budget. My personal view, I want 5-8 years to meet the capital requirement. And I think high cap general insurances have to issue half through right share, and rest of the general insurance will be forced into merger or acquisition. About, 2 year time, is that for 4/5 billion capital or first phase of increment probably around 1 billion. If it is 4/5 billion then impossible, IF one billion then possible. Due to the earth quake, general insurances have to increase capital to 2/3 times weather they like it or not. So, I definitely see a lot of right shares for at least 2 year. About business, new houses to be built will be using bank loan which means business of insurance will grow. Many business will also would like to buy insurance, prime life said their business have grown significantly after the quake. I think there is a possibility of insurance premium coming into companies in billions.... there is a huge potential from agriculture insurance, hydro insurance, tourism, tourist buses, lots of vehicles etc. I think EPS will be good enough, may be half of what is today, when capital is risen to 4/5 billion in 5-8 year, and will increase with time. With prosperity of nepalese, with business growth, economic growth Business of insurance will grow too. Next year's budget will be around 800 billion. They say our economy is 2500 billion. So Business growth will be huge Plus there will be FDI as well as increment of domestic investment. HOPE TO SEE BRIGHT FUTURE OF ALL NEPALESE. |

I have gone through proposed amendments proposed by beema samiti. I know that the new amendments will first forwarded to finance ministry, then to cabinet of ministers. How long will this take place ? One year, two years? They proposed that once the amendments are ratified insurance companies have two years to meet the required mandatory capital? Isn't that too short? I don't want insurance companies to issue right share every year without solid increment in their core business. What you think?

Let's calculate the cost price of insurance with example: NLG, Capital- 34 crore, EPS- 53, Share price- Rs.548
-Now, Let's say, It has to increase capital to 4 arab in 5 year. -Then, when capital reach 4 arab, One share will become 11 shares. -5+5+1=11, Let's assume, Nlg will give 5 bonus shares in 5 year and 5 will be right share. -So, this means, after 5 year, at present price, if you buy share at today's value, your cost per share will be (500-of right share+548- today's price per share) (500+548=1048, Per share= 1048/11=95.5Rs) Its like less than IPO. SO SHOULD WE INVESTMENT IN NLG? CALCULATE OTHER GENERAL INSURANCE AS WELL AS LIFE INSURANCE. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Another calculation based on future rate: -Let's say when capital is increased to 4 arab, EPS will be, let's say 35Rs (even more since after the earthquake and more investment coming, business growth will skyrocket), So how much are we willing to pay, 400Rs/Share. -Which means, your one share today will be 11 and total worth will be (11*400)=4400Rs. -So how much should you pay today for one share of NLG? - Since you will be getting 5 bonus shares, 5 right shares, then price would be (4400-500=3900 for 1 share) - which means today, then price of NLg today should be around 2000-2500Rs. ![]() |

- Finally green after days.
- After the announcement from insurance bureau, I think ashad will be the month of insurance sector. - Insurance alone could take nepse to 1200+. - I wonder who could be those who sold insurance today after the news. could they be those who have not got the news. I got. to purchase few at lower price today. - I think Insurance price could increase 800-1200% with in 5 year. And insurance bureau could give ins company 5-8 year to increase their capital. Now my 40 lakh in insurance will become 5 crore with in 5 year. Long term investment strategy rocks. |

Lost a lot in insurance, now I can dream 800-1200% profit with in a few years.
When I started purchasing NLG, I was dreaming of 100-150% profit with in a year or two. |

First of all its a guessing game, Thirdeye ji.
- First source of info is media, but media is the last source I trust. - If transaction of individual trading is high, or there are too may high trading and price is rising then, big investors are buying, and if price is decreasing then they are dumping. - If broker is buying or selling in large quantity of shares of same companies then, if price is rising then they are buying, if price is decreasing then they are selling. - If volume of transaction dramatically decreased after higher volume in last few days then, evil spirits have dumped their shares. etc etc. |

Bloomberg's ji, personally, I think IPO valued less than 10 crore seems waste of time, waste of money/interest. I have begun to ignore small IPOs.
We need foolproof mechanism to protect ourselves from big evil spirit Shootingstar ji. I just came up with one idea: "buy before big investor, stop purchasing when big investors begin to purchase". |

Namaskar Laganikarta977 ji,
Everything you said is true. My strategy is simple, invest for long term, and buy when market is down like last few days... Let's just calculate this eg. of EVerest bank. - EPS 79(annual)/19(one quarter)/59(three quarter, profit already secured). - Let's assume max of 25% borrower could not pay interest, then fourth quarter E PS would be- 73.... {But I think max who wont be paying could be 10%- eps 76} - So, suppose EPS is 79 and they are giving 10% bonus what would be the price before book close, may be 2400. - in worst case scenario, eps is 73, i thing they would still give 10% bonus, then price would be 2375. Then what, why are some still selling there share at 2000. all they have to do is wait another 3 month. and get 2375. minimum. - Ok, suppose, EPS is ZERO this year, then will price fall to 1000. I dont think so, max down will be 1600. So which means, buying at current rate is almost risk-less but opportunity is huge. |

Rising Sun JI,
Namaskar You are absolutely correct sir. Congratulation Mutual Funds and other players, and big buyers for buying Good companies like CHCL, SBL and at cheap price today. They will sell CHCL it at around 1900 and SBL at around 780 by shrawan just wait. And kinne hami jastai kohi soja lahgani karta ho. This market has so much potential and investors sell shares to pay loans and ajja ghata for them. I am thinking of a new investment strategy for the next financial year. Lets see if this experimentation works or not. For all the fellow investors please remember one thing. To buy a car( Alto) with a job earning Rs 25000 will take around 10-15 years with a lot of savings and sacrifices. This is philosophical tara true. This is the only platform in Nepal which help you achieve the goal in 3-4 years with careful planning and portfolio management. Hamro nepse ko many investors yo forum haru herdainan. Rising sun Ji, and all our fello investors. Kura sabai ko sunnu. Decision aafai linu and smart decision liu sathi ho sabai. Thank you |

भुकम्पले बैंकिङ क्षेत्रको नाफा बढीमा १०% प्रभावित हुन्छ, कैलास बैंकका सिइओ लामिछानेको विश्लेषण - See more at: http://www.bizmandu.com/content/-12113.html#.VYZh3_mqqko

Laganikarta977 ji, I have too many CBL, so wont be adding any more.
Thirdeye ji, I am sure, market will cross 1500 within one year. Looks like they are trying to bring down the market below 900 before ashad and then buy and hold till 4 quarter result. Its common sense, there are lots of company which are affected by the quake but even price of those would come down with the nepse. So you buy when idiots are selling due to the scare of earthquake impact and sell the shares after 4 quarter report which will be normal of most of the company and some may loose some profit but would be satisfactory. And tell follower investors, look our economy, business is still healthy, now its time to take nepse to 2000. |

Shooting star Ji,
Namaskar. Malai Nepse 1110 katcha jasto lagdeina hajur. And in the current trend haal katne jasto dekhideina. Tara Our market is unpredictable and is highly manipulated so who knows. Ani CBL bhanda obviously CCBL is better. Paid up lower and NPL lower and rights also coming. These banks like CBL, CCBL, LBL, LUBL and even upto BOK and KBL will opt for merger for a long run. This is my personal opinion. But CCBL is stuck betn maximum price 315 to 325 at the maximum. But CBL can go to 268 to 285 to 310 so I think CBL at current price can yield a be better return for an individual investor seeking capital gain rather than rights and bonus. Also 10% bonus share is expected so hold pani thik ho rate mile sell pani thik ho. Sir Ji, This is how I earn money. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Sir I recommend a quota system for earning rather that speculative earning which is more successful. Please take your decision accordingly. Risk ta huncha. Thank you Best Regards Laganikarta 977 |
