But the transaction is for 100 shares at Rs 1000 each.

Let's say you bought 1 pair of shoes for Rs 100. Total transaction is for 1 x Rs 100 = Rs 100.

The transaction is not for 2 pairs of shoes (counting 1 pair sold by the store, and one received by the buyer) for Rs 100 each giving you Rs 200.

Because both broker will be saying that I sold x amount and bought y amount so my transition is x+y; this will be same to all broker hence there is chance that the transition volume is 200,000 BUT let me say this is just my guess !

how is the transaction volume calculated? For instance, if i buy 100 kittas of share at Rs. 1000, what will be transaction volume for that day? Is it Rs. 1,00,000 or Rs. 2,00,000
